Friends of the Hartland Library 2010 Book Sale a SUCCESS!


The book sale made $1900 and the Friends received matching funds from Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial Services! The book sale will fund the entire Children's Summer Reading Program at the Hartland Library, along with purchasing items for the library's "wish list."
THANK YOU TO THE FRIENDS AND MODERN WOODMEN!


Hartland Library is a proud recipient of the
WE THE PEOPLE BOOKSHELF
awarded by the
National Endowment for the Humanities
and American Library Association


The award is part of the NEH's We the People intiative, which supports projects that strengthen the teaching, study, and understanding of American history and culture. The award consists of 20 books that embody this year's theme,
"A MORE PERFECT UNION."
We the People Bookshelf Collection

The Hartland Library will present programs on the theme of a "A More Perfect Union" in the coming months...

Lake Country Fine Arts School and Gallery and Hayley's photo will be displayed at the Lake Country Fine Arts School throughout August!
